Recycling Efforts

Creekside is committed to implementing new ways to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The first step in our plan is education. Within our  science classrooms we are looking at ways we can reduce carbon emmissions and how it is effecting our Earth. Next, we plan to teach students how we all can reduce our carbon footprint within our community to save planet Earth for future generations. Please take a look at some of the videos the 2008 video class has created. We have been working hard to start spreading the message. We also have included some links to some great websites. Seee what your family can do today to start living more "green".
Today show: "Plastic or Paper?"

Creekside encourages the recycling of bottles and cans (students should not bring glass containers to school). Recycling bins are located throughout the courtyard. Thanks to Ms. Barbara Gegan who takes the collected bottles and cans to the recycling center. The funds generated by this are deposited into the student body account.
