From the PTSO...
November,2009
Dear Parents, Teachers and Students,
On behalf of the entire PTSO board I would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the 2009 Pledge-a-ton a tremendous success.
To the BUSINESS OWNERS who graciously donated services, financial assistance, food products and their valuable time we greatly appreciate everything you do! The event wouldn’t be the same without you. We look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come.
To the wonderful TEACHERS, we want to thank you for donating your time especially after a long day of work the day of the event. We appreciate everything you do for our students throughout the school year.
To the SUPPORT STAFF, we would like to say thank you for all your help with getting the event set up, taken down and everything in between! You all do a great job every year and it does not go unnoticed!
To ALL of the VOLUNTEERS, this is the biggest event we have during the school year and it takes a lot of time and dedication to pull it off. Everyone associated with this event is volunteering their personal time to make it great for our kids. From the beginning of the planning stages in June until the last light goes out that Friday night, we appreciate you all very much! Without the army of parent volunteers, this event would not be the same...THANK YOU!
And to our STUDENTS, we want to give you a big “high five” for your efforts raising money for your school. In the worst economic crisis to hit the United States since the Great Depression, you managed to raise over $40,000! Wow! What a great effort from all of you! The hard work you put in directly benefits you and this should make you very proud.
I would also like to recognize Mr. Ken Zschach for the excellent job he did this year as the Pledge-a-thon coordinator. He took his position very seriously and committed endless hours to ensure that the event was a success.
On behalf of all of the PTSO board I would like to wish each and every one of you a very Happy Holiday Season.
Sincerely, Tory Hotaling PTSO President
Every child. One voice.

The Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) is committed to increasing parental involvement in support of Creekside Middle School's faculty, staff, and students. Research indicates parent support helps to provide the best learning environment possible for students to be academically successful. And we think that's important.
Get Involved with the PTSO:
Creekside's PTSO meets once a month, generally on the second Wednesday at 6 PM in the staff lounge. These meetings are open to all parents, teachers, and students. A light meal is generally served as well. Please join us at these monthly meetings and be a part of the many positive activities of the PTSO.
We need many, many volunteers for the October 10 Pledge-a-thon, the major fundraiser for Creekside's PTSO. Open up the PTSO newsletter (above) to learn more.
